His dissertation, entitled “Sympathetic Communicative Action: A Preliminary Theory and Model of Human Collaboration” is a transdisciplinary framework for ways of knowing, being and valuing. Kirk’s current interest is in de-conflating the axiological capacity to value from ontological ways of being and relating. This is in the hopes that group consultation can go beyond collaborative process events toward sustaining, caring communities.</ins></div></td></tr>
